Custom ServiceM8 add-ons & integrations

Need ServiceM8 to do something it doesn't do out of the box?

We build custom add-ons that run inside ServiceM8, using your live data. Five in production for Australian trade and field service businesses, including one that cut a client's messaging bill by around $5,000 a month.

Fixed price, from $5,000, quoted before we start. You own the code.

What we've built

Five ServiceM8 add-ons, live in real businesses.

Each one solves a problem ServiceM8 doesn’t handle out of the box. We can adapt any of these to your trade, workflow and branding, which is faster and cheaper than starting from scratch. Or we build something new.

01

SMS Dashboard

Cut messaging cost, keep the automation

Two-way SMS inside ServiceM8, sent through your own gateway and SIM rather than per-message platform charges. Automatic on job events, with replies matched back to the job.

02

Proximity Scheduler

Allocate by real road distance

Opens from any ServiceM8 job card and ranks technicians by actual driving distance against their live schedule and leave, then allocates in one click, written back to ServiceM8.

03

ClientConnect Portal

Take routine calls off your office

A branded self-service portal wired live to ServiceM8. Customers view service history, invoices and documents and request quotes, while your staff run a back office over live data.

04

Lead Management Dashboard

Stop losing enquiries between inboxes

Every enquiry from your website forms, Facebook Lead Ads and tracked phone calls lands in one live dashboard, then pushes into ServiceM8 as a quote job in one click.

05

Commission Dashboard

Retire the commission spreadsheet

Live technician commissions calculated inside ServiceM8. Configurable rates, materials deducted, fair attribution to whoever won the job, and a clear weekly payout workflow.

Can we build yours?

These are the questions we hear most often.

If you have caught yourself thinking “can ServiceM8 just…”, the answer is usually yes, with a bit of building.

This list is nowhere near everything. If it touches ServiceM8, or connects to it, it can almost certainly be built.

How a build works

Four steps, and you know the price before step three.

01

Tell us what's not working

A short call. You describe the problem or the thing you wish ServiceM8 did. We tell you straight away whether it can already do it, whether it needs building, or whether there's a simpler fix.

02

We scope it and quote a fixed price

We work out exactly what to build and what it needs to talk to, then quote a fixed price before anything starts. You approve the number before we write a line of code.

03

We build and integrate

We build it and wire it live into your ServiceM8, using your real data and workflow. You see it working before it goes near your team.

04

We roll it out and support it

We roll it out, train your team, and stay available after go-live. You own the code, and it keeps working when we're not in the room.

Why businesses choose us

We build for ServiceM8, and we ask what it's meant to fix.

01

We know the platform

We work inside ServiceM8's API and add-on framework every week. Our add-ons open from inside ServiceM8, use your live data, and don't ask your team to learn a second system.

02

We won't just build what you ask for

We ask what the add-on is meant to fix first, because the build that pays for itself is the one aimed at the right problem. That's usually one conversation, not a project.

03

We don't disappear at handover

We roll it out, train your team and stay available afterwards. Software nobody uses is wasted money, so getting it adopted is part of the job.

The full story

See exactly how we built three add-ons for a national pest control business.

A detailed walkthrough of the problems, the builds, the screenshots and the results, including the SMS work that cut around $5,000 a month from their messaging bill. We’ll email it straight through.

We’ll send the case study and may follow up once to see if it was useful. Nothing else.

Frequently asked

The things owners usually ask.

No. Everything we build runs on top of ServiceM8 and reads and writes your live data. Your team keeps the system it already knows and nothing gets migrated.

Builds start from $5,000. Every build is quoted at a fixed price before we start, so there are no open-ended development bills. What moves the price is whether we're adapting one of our existing add-ons or building something new, how many systems it needs to talk to, and how much of the workflow it covers.

Most builds run two to four months from first conversation to live, including the design work that makes sure we build the right thing. Adapting one of our existing add-ons is generally quicker than starting from scratch.

You do. Custom work built for your business belongs to your business on final payment, excluding our pre-existing libraries and productised add-ons.

We roll it out, train your team and stay available. Software that nobody uses is wasted money, so adoption is part of the job, not an afterthought.

Our add-ons use ServiceM8's official API and add-on framework, which is built to be stable. We monitor and maintain what we build.

Yes. We build custom workflow software and integrations across field service platforms, so it's worth a conversation either way.

Next step

Tell us what ServiceM8 won't do. We'll tell you if we can build it.

One short call is usually enough to know whether it’s worth doing and roughly what it costs.
